Notifications is an engaging feed within the most popular domestic social network. We have devised a new design concept to make this section even more interesting.
The revamped structure simplifies the user experience.
For messages, we have designed a unified template and developed a typology—a convenient classification system that shows where the message came from, what action was taken afterward and what it was directed towards.
Brighter and more engaging
Instead of links and thumbnails, we use larger formats, striking comment indicators and big like icons. Scrolling through such a feed is more enjoyable, and additionally highlighted content attracts more attention.
Grouped notifications are no longer hidden and are displayed directly in the feed with a swipe.
Transforming from a simple feed, notifications become a standalone section of the app that users will want to check constantly to see likes, track received comments or view announcements of their favorite shows.
