The making of the Merry Starts lottery interface

Starting to invent the ideas for the game. We think up a hare on a race track: it runs and stops near a prize.

Starting to draw the character and the background. First, the hare.

Now the background.

Adjusting the colors, adding polish. Almost there.

Right before the finish we are told we have to replace the hare with something else. Amputating the ears and quickly transforming the hare into a cat.

Giving the cat all the equipment and letting him out on the track.
