The transportation system in Moscow is developing at an incredible pace. Each year, more new lines and Metro stations are being added. Since 2011, 240 kilometers of tracks and 115 stations have been built or renovated, and the pace shows no signs of slowing down. To keep the Moscow Metro map user-friendly and clear, version 5.0 was created in the studio.
Circle lines
Moscow is a city with a radial-ring transport structure: the Big Circle
New transfers
Today, there are so many stations that traditional dumbbell-shaped designations no longer work to denote major transport hubs.
We came up with a solution: stations with the same name are marked with a single circle, which is colored with a recognizable gradient in the colors of the corresponding lines.
The Moscow Metro map in its new design continues to provide comfort and convenience to millions of passengers, both locals and visitors to the city.
