Two main parameters that should be managed when working with a creative person are freedom and pressure. Many clients (and also managers, art directors, chief editors, etc.) who deal with designers believe these parameters to be on the opposite ends of one slide. |

In fact, they are two different sliders. The manager who sets just the right levels of freedom and pressure gets the best results. |

If a designer is let loose or put under too much pressure, no good will come out of it. For each designer and project, the levels should be different.
