Interactive screen interface for Baku Metro
The Baku Metro has been operating since 1967, currently transporting over 230 million passengers every year. Now the Metro cars have interactive screens that help plan a route.
The Metro map was updated specially for the screens. Now significant stations are marked with larger type while equal distances between stations help quicker find the desired stop.
The menu is available in three languages: Azerbaijani, English and Russian, making the screens equally convenient for both locals and tourists.
The list of stations shows line colors and transfer stations. Stations under construction or renovation are muted.
When the train is moving, the name of the next station is displayed at the top of the screen (replaced with the name of the current station when the train is stopped).
The screens even show walking time between stations!
