Kitfort manufactures home appliances: meat grinders, juicers, vacuum cleaners and other useful devices. To make sure Kitfort products always look great on the pages of online store catalogs, rules for photographing the appliances and creating store cards were developed at the studio.
For each product there is a basic set of photographs: the main shot, details of construction, alternative angles and close-ups that convey the texture of the surface. This standard works equally well for devices of any shape. Rules for shooting elongated objects and chrome surfaces are covered separately.
The guide contains detailed instructions on preparing the object and the workspace, setting up lighting for each angle as well as recommendations on retouching and typography.
