I put on my best grey shirt, tied the shoelaces on my new suede shoes and was ready to start my internship. An hour later I regretted not having worn a t-shirt and slippers—so cozy and homelike was the studio. Indeed, it is a beautiful, nice and fun place. The employees safe the world, drink coffee, play kicker and video games. On the other hand, you have to work hard and fast. Each week we pulled a new task out of a black bag. The task could be anything, but always a real problem which you had to solve using all your skills and knowledge.
The studios’ employees are open to communication. You can ask questions, and they will answer, ask for help, and they will help you. The studio’s intranet has a convenient search system that helps you easily find the person you need. I also enjoyed being on a first-name basis with everyone.
The studio taught me a new approach to time and work management and sorted out everything I’ve been learning for such a long time. Now it’s all straightened out—I know what I can do, what I need to learn, and what I should do next. An internship at Art. Lebedev Studio is a fun and valuable experience. Thanks to the studio for the new knowledge and insights.
