Exist.ru sells auto parts and offers services through an extensive partner network. The company decided to reduce the number of steps users have to take from selecting a product to making a purchase. To do this, the studio developed layouts for a mobile application that make it much more convenient to look for what you need, place orders and schedule services.

We conducted a study in the studio’s lab to identify key parameters of navigation systems and interfaces of automotive online stores. As a rule, most users experience major problems right at the start. Catalogs do not work if the user doesn’t specify the model of their vehicle during registration. Usually, people become angry and close the app.
Exist.ru is built differently.
Problem
When people choose the wrong product, they are concerned with how difficult it will be to arrange a return.
Solution
To prevent errors in choosing products and avoid returns, the focus of the users’ attention is narrowed gradually. By default, the catalog shows all products, but once vehicle data is entered, only matching products remain. The primary filter works!
The same principle is used in product collections. When selecting parts, it’s nice to see which ones are suitable for your car. The smart part picker creates ideal combinations, leaving it to the user to choose what they need.
Problem
Without knowing the exact technical specifications of a part, it’s difficult to find it in the catalog.
Solution
The search system does not require the user to enter exact information. It delicately prompts and directs to the relevant section of the catalog. All details are requested in an unobtrusive way with hints shown on the screen to help with more difficult decisions.

Many drivers feel that the app or website they use isn’t customized for them and just shows everything that’s available.
Solution
In addition to the technical details of the vehicle, the personal account page contains information about all of the user’s automotive life: special offers, maintenance schedules, notebooks with records of recent purchases. Now you don’t have to hunt for this information on different screens.
In addition to the personal account in the app, a user profile is created with personal data, individual settings, directions to the nearest office, the current balance and other useful things.
Thanks to a set of useful tools and constant care for the user, the application becomes almost an ideal assistant for every motorist.
