The Artemy Lebedev publishing house specializes in technical, humanitarian and children’s literature.

Our books assist their readers in work, appease their curiosity and bring pleasure. They are meant not to collect dust on bookshelves, but rather lie on a table beside a ruler, pencils and an ashtray.

We publish works on design, fonts, typographics, art and other humanitarian disciplines concerned with the improvement of reality. We are in no way interested in poetry collections, the fantastic novel “Metal Goddess of Pluto” and instructions for the maintenance of poppy plantations.

The two major requirements for the authors we are willing to work with are professional knowledge of the subject matter and excellent Russian language. Unfortunately, neither of these two accomplishments is useful without the other. We can stand a flippant attitude toward spelling and punctuation.

If you have already written a book and want to see it published, write a letter and tell Artemy Lebedev about it. To expedite the matter, attach at least one full-fledged chapter. We will read it carefully and let you know what we think of it.

If you dream of writing a book especially for our publishing house, you are requested to contact us before starting the work on the manuscript. We will discuss the subject matter, hold a private meeting, know each other personally and sign a contract in the end, if by that time you still want it.
