Bely Mys Wine Town identity, naming and positioning
Bely Mys is a modern district in Gelendzhik that develops and supports domestic wine culture. Art. Lebedev Studio came up with a name for the place, developed a brand platform and created its visual identity.
Despite its simplicity and lightness, the name is multi-faceted: it refers to a point on the map (the location is between Tonky and Tolsty Capes), the color of wine that is associated with summer and celebration and the dazzling landscapes made of southern white stone.
The brand platform explains how Bely Mys is becoming a gateway to the world of vibrant resort experiences: its mission is to celebrate life and wine. The logo consists of an arc, resembling a broad joyful smile, the shape of Gelendzhik Bay and, of course, a wine glass.
The bright summer color palette of the identity embodies winemaking.
For each color, several shades were selected and gradients were used, creating an interesting play of color, just like the captivating shifts of light spots on a sunny July day.
Bely Mys is filled with bars and restaurants of Russian winemakers. It also features an expo center, a wine laboratory, an event hall, a wine museum, a cinema and a store with the largest collection of Russian wines. We developed unique logos for each of the sub-brands.
