Azimut logistics robot and charging station
Azimut specializes in the development and turnkey supply of communication, navigation, landing, observation and automation systems for civil aviation. One of its priority areas is warehouse robotics. We have designed a logistics robot and a charging station for it.
The robot is capable of moving objects behind or on top of itself, as well as lifting them to a certain height. Depending on their dimensions, the robots vary in load capacity, but their structure, control mechanisms and component base are standardized to simplify production.
Although almost all interactions with the robot occur remotely, there is a display on the front for manual control, while emergency stop buttons are located at the front and rear for increased safety.
Perimeter lighting informs the operator about the device’s operating mode or any malfunctions.
The visual design of the charging station matches the robot’s appearance and a prominent light element helps to see from a distance whether the battery is fully charged.
Thanks to thoughtful design, Azimut’s logistics robot enables a more confident transition from human labor to machine operation.
