Thinking about the First of September, or the Knowledge Day. The First of September is about bows, ribbons, smoking behind the school building, saying goodbye to the summer, rain, leaves, intolerable gravity of the coming school year. Or maybe, the joy of knowledge?

Drawing a wall calendar in the style of Edward Munch. Done.

Editor: It’s not the First of September, it’s the Knowledge Day. That’s the proper name of the holiday, after all.
