Coming up with sketches. We need something cool and playful to stop us from going down the path of social tearjerking issues. Something about kids fun mischief: swaddling a cat, drawing on a dog, modifying dolls.

Art director: Develop the one with the bear and Barbie.

Studying and recalling the Barbie anatomy.

Drawing a Barbie with a Kewpie doll leg and a bear that is tired of living.

Art director: No, doesn’t make much sense this way, I thought it would be a photo.

Going shopping for a Barbie and looking for a veteran bear.

Inventing costumes for both and slightly transforming them.

Painting the bear, making him more sad and paunchy. Done.
