Overview Process
Reading the book, starting to search for images.
Structurally, the book resembles a collage, so we decide to use this technique for the cover.
The client thinks it over and asks us to go back to one of the first sketches and put more emphasis on the title.
The designer redraws the cover. The art director asks to get rid of excessive yellow gaps and come up with a better arrangement of small and large elements on the cover. The author asks to lose the depressive frame around his name.
Changing the text on the back of the cover. Taking pictures of a girl. The author doesn’t approve. Shooting another girl. Adding the logos. Changing the width of the spine. Preparing the cover for print.
