Overview Process
Studying the original logo. The client asks to keep the colors and the wing figure.
Diving into the world of air travel and making first drafts. Trying to forget about the wing every once in a while.
Promoting some of the ideas to vector drawings.
Still nothing. Thinking some more.
The petal idea looks nice (though there are numerous logos with similar petals).
The second designer submits his ideas.
The third designer doesn’t want to miss out either.
The art director picks a couple of alternatives and suggests to finalize the petal one. Making corrections and presenting the short-list to the client.
The client chooses the petals but asks to remove the transparency. The art director suggests to move the curves around. The type designer draws the letters.
The designer moves the curves around trying to make the logo feel less heavy.
Done.
