Verbarius electronic clock

Problem: Create a clock that tells time the way people do.

Verbarius spells time differently every minute. It’s either forty-five minutes past four, or fifteen minutes to five, or four forty-five, or a quarter to five.

Time is set and reset in the most comfortable and obvious way possible.


Set-hours pictogram is easy to understand for both Russians (×àñ) and foreigners (Hour, Hora, Heure)

Dimensions (W×H×D): 200 mm×70 mm×42 mm (7.9″×2.8″×1.7″).

Verbarius requires a 110/220 V main power supply. In case of power failure, it uses a backup battery.

Verbarius has five preloaded languages: English, German, Spanish, French and Russian—and you can easily upload any additional language you like from your computer.
