At the end of February Izmaylovsky park in Moscow will hold traditional Russian celebrations to mark the end of winter. The studio designed an art object for the celebrations based on the traditional image of a Maslenitsa scarecrow with modern motifs.

The base of the construction is made of several blocks of hay mounted onto a wooden frame. The scarecrow itself is also stuffed with hay, while the dress and shawl are made from regular cloth. In its hands the scarecrow holds a garland decorated with fir branches and colorful ribbons. Ribbons also wrap around the pedestal and decorate the scarecrow’s plaits.
